j4h-title-Jump4Heroes The 1 Show. Tune in 2 BBC 1 on Tuesday at 1900 hrs 2 watch BASE jumping & support 4 Armistice Day.

 

We have recently returned from our Kuala Lumpur World Record Project. We came so close to setting a new Guinness World Record in Malaysia- 24 jumpers each to do 24 jumps in 24 hours. As a group we fell short. The Jump4Heroes team members stepped up to the task and exceeded their jump requirements with Cpl Deane ‘Smudge’ Smith beating by one the current record of 26 jumps with one self-packed rig in the time and Major Alastair Macartney then surpassing that with an impressive 32 and a new record. The Tower totals 421m and is the fifth tallest telecommunications structure in the World, however the exit point is slightly lower at approximately 310m.
